I have been using VMSpc version 2.5 on a Samsung Android tablet for years. Unfortunatly my old tablet has died and i recently purchased a new Samsung tablet, same model. I am trying to download and install the most current VMS product but Im not understanding what to do or how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
We haven't written a program for Android that can be used with the v2.5 software. We did, at one time...years ago... have an App called "VMSair" (available on the Play Store) which has a blue background and a line-by-line display. Not good for driving but decent at diagnostics. Perhaps you had this one--not VMSpc?
The PC software, with the gauge 'boxes' --resizable, different colors etc, only works on Microsoft Windows. Also, the JIB has a USB connection--but no USB drivers exist for the Android operating system. So, if maybe you were connecting wirelessly -and- using v3.0 or higher...that would make sense, but using VMSair.
A typical tablet being used currently is the Windows version of the RCA Cambio. Samsung does make a Windows tablet, the Galaxy Book is one example.
Once you have a Windows tablet, in order to use VMSpc, you may download version 2.5 or 3.0 from our website. This should be what you need to press on.
