My genstart board was sent in for repair about a year and a half ago. I was eventually sent a replacement board. I just had an extended warranty inspection and noticed that, instead of the 700+ actual run hours on the generator, the VMS 200EL shows 6,969 run hours. How do I set that back to the actual hours?

The procedure is different depending on which type of Gen Set you have and which Model of SilverLeaf Interface you have.. If you have the newer TM-102, the hours are set with a Computer Based tool called, OmniScope.. ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you have a PM-001 with a Non Onan Genset, the Run Time Hours are changed on the Gen Start Screen, after entering the Installer Code 42, you can change the Cranking Settings and the Run Time Hours. If you have an Onan Genset, the Hours are reported directly from the Genset, there is no place to change them with the SilverLeaf. MarkO
