I am a new user (bought VMSpc at Indio on Friday, got different cable on Saturday). When i used the new cable, I got information to populate the screen. I did not notice at that time the Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature were reading zero. When I look at the parameters for those guages, they show 100 and 175. When I run PID sniffer, I do not see any listing for Oil Pressure or Temperature. Suggestions please.

Re:CAT 3126 250 HP PID's (Oil)
They are not there, It does not support them..
That question was answered ( in an Off Handed Way ) in the Post, Oil Temp on Cat C7, which is located in the VMSpc Engine and Chassis Information Forum, located under VMSpc Forum Favorites.
What about the later Cat 3126 ?
I'm installing in a 96 40 ft Safari Serengeti with the 300 hp Cat 3126. Can I expect Oil Pressure and Oil Temp to work in version 3.5 and later?
Hello Gary, Its the engine
Hello Gary,
Its the engine that doesn't support them. It seems odd to not have even oil pressure (as many/ most don't have sensors for temperature.) As an early electronic diesel, it lacks the sensors to measure either. This was detailed in the above link "Oil Temp on Cat C7"

3126 Oil pressure reading
There is indeed an oil pressure sensor on the 3126.
