I am about to load up a new windows 10 tablet with the VMSpc software and was wondering if the latest 4.0 version is ready for release again?
Josh and I talked about this...and schemed...just yesterday. Hello Marty, we pored over the schedule of all the other things that are keeping the completion at arms length. Our plan is to pop in on a Saturday, bust out the pizza, fluids and code and get it done before we leave for the night. The telematics and other new systems are the biggest time-sinks. These are first in cue, otherwise. It looks like the VMSpc will have its very own cue for the weekend. So, its coming soon--but now on a little different schedule. ;-) cheers Art //
Thanks for the heads up Art. I am standing by!

Hello Marty and all I've released v4.0.3 as a ready-to-install distribution package today. I ran just the bare program for a while. First ran it overnight on an older Serial Bus (JS500) Jib, then a USB (JS501) the the JS-550 WiFi. No burps from any of these. We did add a 'mouse wiggle' trick to this last build--amongst the other needed fixes. This one however is specific to Windows-10 and its propensity to put the USB and/or WiFi to sleep after 5 or 10 minutes. One user found if he wiggled his mouse every few minutes, Windows wouldn't drop the connection. Now, every 3-minutes, the code for moving the mouse some tiny amount is passed along to the CPU. This command has been successful for other teams to prevent the screen saver from closing things up. So we use it here now to keep the data from dropping out. So far, so good. Give it a try and post your results. Be sure to mention which plug (DDEC, 6 or 9-pin) and Jib you're using along with the Windows version. cheers Art Renda Documentation Central Silverleaf Electronics (888) 741-0259
